Projects for the
Right to Dream
The right to dream is a concept that is based on the idea thatthe act of dreaming and aspiring to a better future, should be a fundamental and essential right for the dignity and mental health of all human beings. According to this perspective, society, including health and education institutions, must not only recognize but also actively promote this right, incorporating it into the educational and cultural context.
The proposal is that the right to dream be transformed into law, reflecting a commitment to building a more just and egalitarian society, where everyone, regardless of their origins or characteristics, has the freedom to dream and pursue their aspirations with ethics and love.
This would contribute to a more equal and promising future for all citizens.
Guaranteeing the Right to Dream for everyone!

The Right to Dream is our dream and cause, so we at Fábrica dos Sonhos organize the Right to Dream Movement and the Right to Dream Week (DDS) that takes place annually around the world, and exists to encourage, raise awareness, guarantee and return the right to dream for everyone.
Right to Dream Week takes place from September 18th to 25th and everyone can participate! This week the idea is for people and organizations to carry out different activities respecting the theme of the year and encouraging dreaming everywhere. We gathered everything that was done in an official international report.
The theme for 2023 was“Inspiring Dreaming and its incredible possibilities”.
